According to traditional Chinese medicine, meridians are the energy pathways or channels that run through our entire body, interconnecting with each other, and also with our major organs.
The meridians were discovered more than 5,000 years ago, and constitute the path that the vital energy or universal energy travels. It is invisible and cannot be quantified, but without it, we could not live.
Traditional Chinese medicine points out that the 12 main meridians are related to the organs and viscera of the body, which is why they are named after the organ or viscera in question.
Most acupuncture and acu pressure points are located on a meridian. In fact, there are more than 300 such points on the meridians. It is believed that stimulation of these points can correct or restore energy flow.
There are 12 regular or main meridians and 20 in total. But they all make it possible for the vital force to flow through our body, which classical Chinese philosophy calls Qi, and which composes and unites all things in the universe.
The meridian system is therefore a regulatory system of this energy, which plays a role of communication and interconnection, allows the circulation of energy and maintains the energy balance of the body.
It is also important to mention that the meridians are more active at certain times of the day, as well as at certain times, and are influenced by an element or a season.
What modern science says about Meridians?
Recent scientific research such as that carried out by Seoul National University suggests not only that the existence of these channels in our bodies is real, but that this network carries an energy flow of electromagnetic waves of light and DNA.
The scientists were able to find that when colored liquid was injected into the so-called acupuncture points, fine lines were colored in the image. This was not the case when the same substance was injected into other points.
As if this were not enough, these channels were found not only in skin but everywhere, and it was discovered that in the liquid extracted from these channels there is a large amount of stem cells.
In a study carried out with rats, it was observed that by cutting the meridians that surround the kidneys, and leaving the nerves and other vessels intact, the rats’ kidneys died within a few days. This demonstrates the importance of meridians for good health and life.
Knowing and understanding the meridians allows us to detect where a health problem comes from. So that we can look for a way to solve it from its origin. That is, in a more efficient way.
Healy Meridian Programs
Given that we are bioelectrical beings and that the meridians are the ones that make up the body’s electrical system, it is logical that we must take them into account when we experience any ailment.
That is why Healy offers us frequencies for the harmonization of the meridians in two modules called Meridians 1 and Meridians 2. Although it is worth mentioning that this organization does not obey the level of importance or hierarchy, but it was done that way rather for practical purposes.
Some of these programs correspond to the meridians considered by traditional Chinese medicine. Others have been included because advances in the field of quantum medicine now allow us to understand aspects that were previously unknown.
In the module Meridians 1, we find the programs:
- Allergy meridian
- Connective tissue
- Bladder
- Large intestine
- Small intestine
- Steatosis
- Gallbladder
- Joints
- Skin
- Heart
In the Meridians 2 module, the programs are located:
- Hormonal balance
- Circulation
- Liver
- Lungs
- Lymphatic system
- Stomach
- Spleen-pancreas
- Nerve
- Kidney
- Organ
How to interpret when Healy recommends your application?
Healy allows us to work the meridians without acupuncture, but having knowledge about them and how they work, allows us to better interpret when our Healy device recommends the application of one of these programs after an analysis.
According to traditional Chinese medicine, there is no such thing as an allergy meridian. However, in Healy it has been included in this group of programs because when we have allergies, overheating, increased humidity and accumulation of acidity, causes the flow of energy to slow down in the body.
If the application recommends the application of the organ meridian program, this indicates that one of our organs is not receiving the proper energy, or the proper interaction between the organs and meridians is not taking place.
Another meridian not contemplated in Chinese medicine is the hormonal balance meridian, which appears in Meridians 2 of the application, and with which micro currents are used to stimulate the harmonization of the glandular system and work energy blockages of any gland.
The Circulation program is also not included among the traditional meridians, and when an analysis indicates it, it may be due to a stagnation not only at the blood level but also at the energy level, since they work in parallel.
The Liver meridian program, besides being used to harmonize this organ, is recommended when we start a new project, especially if it is related to the purpose or intention we had when doing analysis. For the liver is related to expansion.
Likewise, the program Lungs. Organs that transform prana energy into chi energy, and also purify the body. So, if after the analysis, Healy indicates us to apply lungs and kidneys, possibly our body is not detoxifying correctly.
